Brief Community Event: Flag Changing Ceremony (afternoon)

Location: The Wayside Inn (outside front main entrance)

(Timing may vary due to morning events in Concord)

Sudbury Companies of Militia & Minute and the Sudbury Ancient Fyfe and Drum Company will march to Concord from Wayland (formerly East Sudbury) stopping in Sudbury Center for a roll call.

The Companies will gather at The Wayside Inn afterward for their traditional ceremony and changing of the flag, from the Grand Union to the Union Jack, over the entry of Longfellow’s Wayside Inn.

Longfellow’s Wayside Inn flies three different flags throughout the year. A very brief explanation of this flag change will be announced and the significance of the new flag at this time.  (Timing TBD).
