Whether it be for a romantic weekend getaway, a special retreat, a quintessential New England excursion, or simply a quiet evening away, Longfellow’s Wayside Inn offers a timeless country experience any time of year. Each of our ten guest rooms has a view of our wooded and private grounds, filled with gardens, charming buildings, and historic spaces. Our ten guest rooms have either king, queen, or full size beds. Both queen rooms have four-poster canopy beds. Each guest room has its own full bath and is furnished with a combination of authentic antiques and country reproductions. Rooms 9 and 10 date from the early 19th century, with low ceiling, post-and-beam construction details and wide-plank painted floors. Reservations are recommended well in advance, and a 72-hour notice of cancellation is required. Check-in time is 3:00 PM and check-out is 11:00 AM. No pets, please. There are several pet boarders within minutes, call if you need a referral. We look forward to having you as our guest!

We offer lodging in the true country “bed-and-breakfast” tradition. Our two historic rooms (numbers 9 and 10) book quickly so be sure to plan as much in advance as possible.

‍Double-occupancy rates are $200 to $220 per room and include a full breakfast in our Old Tap Room. Rates exclude taxes and are based on up to 2 guests per room. Please contact reservations for applicable rates for your stay.

Each stay includes:

• Comfortable rooms with a private bath, air conditioning, and telephone.
• A common sitting room reserved for the exclusive use of our house guests.
• A full country breakfast in the historic Old Tap Room.
• Wireless Internet access.
