Award-winning photographer Roberta Anslow is exhibiting a collection of striking images titled "New Works & New Media." Anslow employs a unique and innovative process that gives each image a somewhat painted appearance—which in the case of some of the displayed images is further enhanced by printing directly on a specially coated canvas. Most of her images are larger-than-life, including dramatic close-ups of bursting seed pods or the oft overlooked micro-anatomy of flowers.
After purchasing her first all-digital SLR a few years ago, Anslow, a resident of Hudson, immediately excelled at capturing and presenting her many subjects. She is a member of a variety of art organizations, including the Cape Cod Art Association and the Concord Art Association, and has been the recipient of a number of awards presented during several juried exhibits over the past two years. Her work is exhibited and sold at both regional and local art galleries, and is represented in an array of private and corporate collections worldwide.
All of Anslow's artwork is available for purchase, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the non-profit mission of the Wayside Inn Historic Site. For more information phone 978/443-1776.
